Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before starting to use the services and facilities provided by PyraMedz. These Terms shape your access to and utilization of our medical tourism facilitation services. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

Definitions

"PyraMedz," "We," "Us," "Our"refers to (Intellekt Hub - FZ - LLC), operating as PyraMedz.
"Client," "Patient," "You"refers to any individual or identity using our service.
"Medical Service Providers"refers to the independent clinics, doctors, surgeons, dentists, consultants, and other healthcare experts in Egypt with whom we partner.
"Complementary Service Providers"refers to the independent third parties providing non-medical services such as accommodation, transportation facilities, and other related services.
"Services"refers to the medical facilities and services introduced by PyraMedz. This includes, but is not limited to, initial consultations, coordination with medical services providers, booking arrangements, and ongoing support.
"Package"refers to a predesigned set of medical services and complementary services offered by PyraMedz.
"Customized Plan"refers to a tailored set of medical and complementary services arranged by PyraMedz based on the client's needs and requests.

Acceptance of Terms

By contacting us, requesting a quote, booking a package or customized plan, or otherwise using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be obligated to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Our Services (Role of PyraMedz)

PyraMedz acts only as a facilitator and coordinator for your medical journey to Egypt. Our services contain:

  • Initial Consultation & Assessment: Understanding your medical requirements and preferences.
  • Medical Provider Selection: Offering a wide range of licensed Medical Services Providers in Egypt based on your case. You retain the right to choose your preferred doctor/clinic.
  • Coordination: Arranging online/teleconsultations with Medical Service Providers.
  • Booking Assistance: Facilitating booking of medical procedures, accommodations, and local transportation through our reliable partners.
  • Communication: Acting as a focal point between you and Medical Service Providers/Complementary Service Providers.
  • Post-Treatment Follow-up: Arranging with doctors for post-service, emergency, or inquiries/requests.

Important Disclaimer Regarding Medical Services

  • PyraMedz is NOT a medical provider: we do not offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All medical decisions, procedures, and treatment plans are only the responsibility of the Medical Service Providers you choose.
  • We ensure the credibility and professionalism of our Medical Service Providers network. However, PyraMedz bears no responsibility for the direct medical services provided by them, including results/outcomes, complications, or medical malpractice.
  • Any information provided by PyraMedz regarding medical procedures is for guidance only and should never replace the advice of a qualified medical professional.

Client Responsibilities

  • Providing Accurate Information: Submitting complete medical history, accurate personal details, and valid travel information. Neglecting this may cause cancellation of services.
  • Informed Consent: Providing informed agreement for any medical procedures to the Medical Service Provider directly.
  • Following Medical Advice: Complying with instructions and treatment plans offered by your Medical Service Provider before, during, and after treatment.
  • Travel Documents: Ensuring you have all necessary valid travel documents including passport, visa, and any required health certificates.
  • Communication: Informing PyraMedz of any changes to your medical conditions, travel plans, or personal details.
  • Financial Obligations: Ensuring all expenses for your packages/treatment are paid on time.
  • Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance including coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and complications. We are not responsible for losses from insufficient insurance.
  • Fellowship: Understanding that in specific cases a companion may be required during the medical trip, and arranging this if necessary.
  • Accessibility Needs: Reporting any special needs (solo female traveler, wheelchair access, etc.) in advance so we can arrange suitable services.

Medical Treatment and Associated Risks

  • All medical treatments are provided exclusively by independent Medical Service Providers within the network. PyraMedz acts solely as a facilitator and shall not be held responsible for the quality of care, medical outcomes, or any incidents arising from the procedures performed.
  • You acknowledge and understand that all medical procedures carry inherent risks. It is your responsibility to fully discuss, review, and understand all potential complications, risks, and alternative treatment options directly with your selected clinic and/or physician prior to proceeding.
  • For solo travelers undergoing surgery procedures that require a recovery and healing period exceeding one week, booking an in-house nurse through our services (at an additional cost) is strongly recommended to support a safe and smooth recovery. This may also require appropriate adjustments to the accommodation to ensure adequate post-operative care. Should you choose to decline this service, you do so at your own risk and assume full responsibility for your recovery and any related consequences.
  • In the event of unforeseen complications or medical emergencies, the Medical Service Provider will take all necessary actions. Any additional costs incurred as a result of such circumstances shall be borne solely by you.

Booking and Payments

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total determined medical services cost is required to confirm your booking. A secure payment link will be sent to your email and WhatsApp.
  • Balance Payment: The remaining 75% is payable through our platform or upon your arrival in Egypt after your medical service is completed.
  • Complementary Services: All fees for additional services will be communicated beforehand and arrangements for their payment acknowledged.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit cards, secure payment links, or bank transfers.
  • Price Modifications: Prices provided are estimates and may vary based on final consultation, specific medical needs, complications, seasons, and inflation.
  • Special Rates: PyraMedz offers dedicated rates from our licensed medical care providers, making our services more affordable than direct booking.

Cancellation and Refund

PyraMedz ensures transparency at every stage of your medical journey.

  • Non-Refundable Deposit: The initial 25% down payment is non-refundable, as it covers operational costs, initial consultation arrangements, and pre-booking efforts.
  • Full Payment Refund (Case-by-Case): Eligibility for a refund will be evaluated considering the cancellation policies of the Medical Service Providers involved, the timing of your request, and refund policies for accommodation and complementary services.
  • Potential Partial or Full Refund: After case evaluation, if eligible, you may receive a partial or full refund of the amount paid, regardless of the non-refundable 25% deposit.
  • Our Support: Our team is committed to guiding you through the process and ensuring any eligible refunds are properly processed.
  • To Request a Refund: Contact our support team by email at support@pyramedz.com with your booking details and reason for request within 5 business days.

Rescheduling and Extensions

  • Requests to reschedule or change your stay must be sent via email to support@pyramedz.com.
  • We will facilitate such requests according to the availability of Medical Service Providers, accommodation, and other complementary service providers.
  • Any additional charges due to rescheduling or extensions will be your responsibility.
  • We aim to process such requests within 48 hours.

Travel and Accommodation

PyraMedz assists in booking accommodation and local transportation based on your preferences.

These services are provided by independent complementary service providers, and their terms and conditions will also apply.

PyraMedz is not responsible for issues arising from complementary service providers such as hotel quality, transport delays, loss of items, or accidents. However, we will assist in resolving reasonable complaints.

Data Privacy

Your privacy is essential to us. We collect, use, and protect your personal data and sensitive medical information according to our Privacy Policy. By confirming these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Responsibility

PyraMedz acts as a facilitator. We will not be responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages caused by:

  • Medical malpractice, negligence, or negative outcomes by Medical Service Providers.
  • Acts or omissions of complementary service providers.
  • Unpredictable circumstances including natural disasters, political instability, epidemics, or force majeure.
  • Your failure to provide accurate information or follow medical advice.
  • Any direct dealings you have with Medical Service Providers outside of our facilitation.

In no event will PyraMedz's total liability to you exceed the amount paid by you to PyraMedz for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PyraMedz, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of our services.
  • Your breach of these Terms.
  • Your interactions with Medical Service Providers or Complementary Service Providers.
  • Your failure to comply with laws or regulations in Egypt or your home country.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website and in our materials, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of PyraMedz or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our express written permission.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms will be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms will first be attempted to be resolved amicably through negotiation between the parties.

If an amicable resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Egypt.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full effect.

Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and PyraMedz regarding our services and supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or representations.
